The Months

The Months    

January brings the snow,

Makes our feet and fingers glow.         

February brings the rain,  

Thaws the frozen lakes again.

March brings the breezes loud and shrill,  

Stirs the dancing daffodil. 

April brings the promise sweet,

Scatters daisies at our feet.

May brings flocks of pretty lambs,

Skipping by their fleecy dams.

June brings tulips, lilies, roses,

Fills the children's hands with posies.

Hot July brings cooling showers,

Apricots and Gillyflowers.
August brings that sheeves of corn,

Then the harvest home is born.

Warm September brings the fruit,

Sportsman then begin to shoot.

Fresh October brings the pheasant,

Then to gather nuts is pleasant.

Dull November brings the blast,

 Then the leaves are whirling fast.

Chill December brings the sleet,

Blazing fire and Christmas treat.

Fluffle Puff

Fluffle Puff is a very fluffy unicorn, who is silly and loves to chew on things.  She doesn't talk.

Eastern Eagles

Today I went to a college basketball game.  They were giving out free T shirts.  It was Eastern Eagles VS some team from Texas.  The Eagles won by 30 points.  I did a children's halftime race.  Someone was giving away free donuts.  The Eagles have a person on their team that is 7.2 ft tall!   His name is Fred.  Everybody else on the court looked so small compared to him.  Swoop, the Eagles mascot, was in his pajamas because the game was at 8:00am.

Fall Folk Festival

I went to the Fall Folk Festival yesterday with my friends Chloe and Sydney.  There was music, dancing, and crafts.  We listened to marimbas, watched clogging, made corn husk dolls, made masks, and ate lunch. We took Chloe and Sydney to our house and they had a sleepover.  Sydney and I both slept on the top bunk(It was kinda squishy).  Chloe and Joy slept on the floor. In the morning we all went to church.  

STEM for girls

I went to Gonzaga University for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)for girls. It was really interesting.  I took a Lego robot class and learned how to program the robot to do a maze.  I took a veterinarian class and did "surgery" on a stuffed animal.  The last class I took we studied wind power.  It's actually pretty interesting.  We got to build mini wind turbine and got ALOT OF CANDY.  Wind power is probably my favorite class(We also got pizza and cookies for lunch).

I have dance class every Thursday.  I do tap, jazz, and ballet in one class.  Ballet is my favorite.  We started a new session this week.   We are doing a preformance for the parents at the end the session.  We have to memorize a ballet routine a tap routine and a jazz routine. It's kind of hard. 

Costume Party

I went to a costume party last week.  We played some pretty fun games.  We played beanbag toss and did a cakewalk.  I won a plate of cupcakes.  We played another game called Pick the Nose.  There was a big nose made of cardboard. It had two holes for the nostrils.  You had to stick your hand in one of the nostrils.  Behind one nostril was a bowl of "boogers" and behind the other nostril was a bowl of candy.  And for snack we had candy, candy and more candy.  I HAD A BLAST !!!

Sophia Grace and Rosie

Sophia Grace and Rosie are rappers, singers, dancers and actresses.  They were on the Ellen Show.  Rosie is on the left and Sophia Grace is on the right.  Their movie, Sophia Grace and Rosie's Royal Adventure, is fantastic.

Leaf Raking

Me and my siblings started a leaf raking business and a snow shoveling business.  It's $12.00 per hour.  We've been busy lately. We went to co-op and a huckleberry hike. I went to a 2 year olds birthday party. It was a bit odd because everyone was under 3 feet. I went to dance class with my sister.

Ice Skating

I went ice skating last week with my family at Frontier Ice Arena.  I'm probably going to have my birthday party there.

I also went to a gold mine tour at the Crystal Gold Mine.  We got to pan for gold. I found some gold but it wasn't very much.

The Spokane County Fair

I just went to the Sopkane County Fair.  I had some cotton candy, fed some baby goats and looked at horses.  I saw a long horn bull, looked at booths, and watched a magic show. It was a long day.

First Days Of School

I'm in 5th grade his year and I'm homeschooled.  I'm not schools biggest fan but surprisingly it's pretty fun.  My favorite subject is science because I love animals!!  I like dogs the most.  Here's some cute dog pics.
